Sir John Pedder, K.B.E., C.B., M.O.R.

Dear Sir John Pedder,

You may remember when Hallifax & I called on you, you were good enough to give us some advice as to possible arrangements in regard to the licensing of the Hong Kong Restaurant at the B.E. Exhibition.

Hallifax has just rung me up to say that he did see the Wembley people, who express doubts whether the licence granted to Messrs. Lyons covers the Hong Kong Pavilion. They say the licences are all filed away somewhere.

I am writing to ask you to tell one of your people to let me know how to get at it. It would be of possible use if we should get a copy of the licences granted.
